The opportunity
At BC Ferries, we sail to serve and connect the people and the coast of BC. As we embark on several major transformation initiatives that will shape the future of our organization, we’re seeking a Senior Communications Advisor to support upcoming IT major programs and play a key role in how we communicate important business priorities, transformation initiatives and organizational change to our employees.
This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of strategic communications, employee engagement and organizational change. You’ll partner with leaders and project teams across the organization to develop communications that help employees understand not only what is changing, but why it matters and how it impacts them.
As the Senior Communications Advisor – IT Major Programs, you’ll play a key role in developing and delivering strategic internal communications that support some of BC Ferries' most significant business transformation initiatives, including:
From developing communications strategies and plans to writing executive messaging, intranet content and company-wide communications, you'll work closely with program teams, business leaders, and key stakeholders across the organization to create impactful communication strategies that build employee awareness, readiness and adoption. You'll be a trusted advisor, helping leaders navigate change while ensuring communications are timely, clear and aligned with organizational objectives.

This is a regular full-time position with a target salary range of $83,500 - $104,300 per annum. The starting salary is determined based on the successful candidate’s knowledge, experience and internal equity.
