TRADESHELPER

Tsawwassen

Casual

 

In this position, you will assist tradespersons with repairs, cleaning, work preparation, and maintenance of all BCF Assets including marine structures, buildings, grounds, vehicles, equipment and vessels. You must bring a solid work ethic and a willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions. As duties will vary depending on business requirements, a flexible and positive attitude is essential.

 

You are extremely safety-conscious and are physically able to manage heavy lifting and repetitive movement. You have a thorough understanding of WCB regulations and safe working practices and working knowledge of relevant materials, tools and equipment. You hold a valid Class 5 Driver's License (no driving restrictions). You have relevant experience working as a Labourer/Helper on a construction site or trades related maintenance facility. Your background is sufficient to demonstrate the knowledge and ability requirements for the job (note: background may include education, training, self-study, employment and other experience).
