FUEL INJECTION TECHNICIAN
Richmond - Fleet Maintenance Unit
We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced and qualified Diesel Fuel injection Mechanic with a minimum of 2 – 3 years directly related experience to fill a position at our Fleet Maintenance facility in Richmond.
This position will support the refit and maintenance requirements for our fleet of vessels and will performing the following: services and repairs fuel injection equipment; dismantles, inspects, repairs and reassembles parts; maintains and services fuel injection test equipment; repairs injections pumps, injectors and components; troubleshoots mechanical breakdowns and replaces faulty parts or installs new machinery; compiles and maintains service records and ensure service intervals are maintained; ensures all work is performance in accordance with company, manufacturer and/or regulatory body specifications; ensures ISO standards are updated and maintained; travels off site to attend to equipment breakdowns as required; provides a ‘lead hand’ role for new employees and helpers; and performs additional duties as required.
You hold a relevant BC or interprovincial Trade Qualification of Diesel Fuel Injection Technician. Knowledge of Electronic governor’s, EUI & EUP an asset.
