Job Description

INBOARD/OUTBOARD ENGINE MECHANIC

Richmond

Fixed Term

 

We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced and qualified Inboard/Outboard Engine Mechanic with marine engine experience to fill a position at our Fleet Maintenance facility in Richmond.

 

This position will support our fleet of rescue crafts, as well as, our onsite small engine equipment,  and will be performing the following: services, troubleshoots and repairs all rescue craft engines and small engine equipment (i.e. forklifts, small mobile cranes); maintains and services test equipment and components; operates rescue craft and evaluates engine equipment and performance; completes and maintains service records ensuring service intervals are maintained; ensures all work is performance in accordance with company, manufacturer and/or regulatory body specifications; ensures ISO standards are updated and maintained; travels off site to attend to equipment breakdowns as required; provides support to new employees and helpers; and performs additional duties as required.

 

You hold a relevant BC or interprovincial Trade Qualification of Inboard/Outboard Mechanic.
