The Opportunity
We are seeking three Engineering Co-op Students to support capital project delivery for terminal infrastructure within the Terminal Construction department. The positions will start in January 2026 for either a 4- or 8-month term. One position will be based at our Horseshoe Bay terminal, and two will be based at our head office in Victoria.
As an Engineering Co-op Student, your primary responsibility will be to assist project managers with project-related tasks. In this position, you will learn and develop engineering and project management skills, gain knowledge of terminal infrastructure and its design, and become familiar with project planning and development, cost estimating, scheduling, contract administration, procurement, BC Ferries’ computer systems, and report writing. You are a self-starter who performs well under limited supervision, and you demonstrate maturity, responsibility, reliability, and competence.
