The Opportunity
We’re proud to be one of the largest ferry operators in the world and for over 60 years, we have been dedicated to providing safe and efficient travel to our customers. We are looking for a senior leader to join our External Engagement team. As a Director, Community Relations you build trust and support BC Ferries initiatives and ensure communities and interested/impacted groups are well informed and engaged.
To be the right fit, you are a self-starter and strategic thinker – someone who is calm, creative and tactical under pressure, and who can see the big picture beyond daily issues. You thrive in an environment where you build and maintain effective relationships with interested and impacted: people and communities; local, regional and provincial leaders; BC Ferries staff and boards; and, BC Ferries' regulator.

Additional information
The target salary range: $159,800 - $199,700 per annum. The starting salary is determined based on the successful candidate’s knowledge, experience and internal equity.
