The Opportunity

We’re seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our IT Business Transformation team and lead high-impact projects that shape the future of our organization. Working as part of a dynamic, results-driven team, you’ll oversee multimillion-dollar initiatives, collaborate with executives and stakeholders across the company, and bring innovative solutions to complex business challenges—all while ensuring seamless project delivery from start to finish.

With a strategic mindset, you ensure every project aligns with organizational goals while delivering measurable value. Leveraging proven project management methodologies grounded in the PMI® Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®), You drive projects to successful completion, consistently delivering on scope, schedule, and budget.

 

The Role

Reporting to the Executive Director, Business Transformation, you add value by key areas of oversight such as:

  • Collaborating with stakeholders and leadership to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables that align with business priorities;
  • Building and sustaining strong relationships across teams and departments to ensure project success;
  • Providing clear and timely project updates to key stakeholders, including the Owner, Sponsor, and Steering Committee;
  • Effectively communicating and managing project expectations to team members and stakeholders on an ongoing basis;
  • Defining project success criteria and disseminating information to involved parties throughout project life cycle;
  • Facilitating workshops, Working Group meetings, Steering Committee meetings and other stakeholder sessions as required;
  • Establishing and managing effective change control processes;
  • Conducting and supporting team member performance management activities;
  • Analyzing and evaluating client needs and advises on timing and priorities of projects;
  • Partnering with stakeholders to identify business opportunities and challenges, providing thoughtful guidance and aligning technology solutions to meet organizational needs;
  • Working with Supply Chain, facilitates the procurement process including RFPs, RFIs, evaluation, selection of vendors and contract negotiation;
  • Contributing to the development of the client’s short and long term strategic plans as they relate to the respective project portfolio;
  • Identifying inter-dependencies, conflicting requirements, and overlapping impact on business processes and IT services and architectures across projects;
  • Conducting project post implementation reviews and contributes to lessons learned repository;

 

What you bring to the team

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field (Project Management certification is an asset).
  • 7-9 years of experience in in project management, leading full life-cycle projects
  • 1-3 years of experience managing large-scale IT or capital projects ($1M+ budgets)
  • Strong background in MS Project and project management methodologies
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a detail-oriented approach
  • Adaptability to shifting priorities and complex business needs
  • Proven ability to deliver measurable business results through IT innovation

Additional information

The target salary range: $132,600 - $165,700.  The starting salary is determined based on the successful candidate’s knowledge, experience and internal equity.
