We’re seeking a Senior Technical Analyst to join our Information Technology team and take a lead role in optimizing and supporting our Maximo Maintenance Management System.
In this role, you will lead the technical and business analysis, coordination, and execution required to design, implement, sustain, and enhance mission-critical business applications. You will partner with stakeholders to capture business requirements and translate them into scalable, high-performing solutions that align with enterprise application architecture.

The Role
Reporting to the Manager, Maintenance Management Applications, you add value and are energized by key areas of oversight such as:
- Acting as the primary technical supervisor for Maximo and associated custom applications;
- Directing and coordinating other Application Analysts, Application Developers, and Contractors to resolve incidents;
- Resolving complex problems of systems integration, compatibility, multiple platform interactions, inter-system architectural issues, performance issues, and complex application issues;
- Formulating and defining systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and possesses a good understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements;
- Conducting the technical analysis/design work required based on business process to implement and document the technical solution in new Product releases or updates;
- Developing functional designs and business processes for complex problems; designing and executing technical solutions with coordinates testing cycles;
- Testing systems for patches, upgrades and compatibility with other systems used at BCF; and develops comprehensive scripts and/or auditing of existing scripts;
- Ensuring quality deliverables that meet budget and milestone expectations, and that objectives are effectively achieved;
- Maintaining subject matter expertise in one or more areas and applying this knowledge through participation in project teams;
- Supporting customer in marketing new processes and solutions to end-users;
- Investigating data, through system audits, ensuring the correct information is being captured;
- Providing guidance and mentorship to other team members and facilitates effective team interaction;
- Ensuring appropriate security is implemented;
- Providing orientation, guidance and informal training to other employees;
What you bring to the team
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Business or other related discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training and work experience
- PMI membership (or recognized Project Management body) preferred
- ITIL certification (Foundation) is an asset
- Extensive experience with Maximo integration framework, Maximo business objects and logical database concepts
- Experience with Maximo 7.6 is preferred
- Ability to effectively define business requirements and produce a conceptual or logical design for those requirements
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills, with an ability to consistently achieve a high level of customer satisfaction

Additional information
This is a permanent full-time position. The salary is $8,377 per month.
