We have an ambitious plan to improve our business that spans functional areas such as people & safety, enterprise asset management, customer experience, terminal operations and much more.
You are a seasoned IT expert with a strategic business mind. You're not just an IT professional; you're a visionary leader helping shape the business transformation of BC Ferries. As part of the Senior IT Leadership team, you are responsible for short-term and long-term business & IT transformation strategies overseeing a portfolio of programs & projects that drive business outcomes.
As an Executive Director, Business Transformation, you work closely with Senior Leadership across the organization, developing short-term and long-term strategic roadmaps that meet business goals & objectives. You are directly responsible for overseeing the development of IT strategy and ensuring successful delivery of IT programs and projects.
You play a key role in designing and building a transformational delivery capability from the ground up. You bring a unique blend of hands-on experience in large scale program/project delivery that will be required as BC Ferries matures its internal delivery capability. In addition, you are a trusted business partner who thrives on tackling complex challenges across the organization.

What you bring to the team
You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science or related discipline. You bring minimum 10+ years of experience and a proven track record in business transformation with an annual IT portfolio over $20 million. You have strong work ethic with self-accountability for high quality deliverables and achieving corporate goals. You also bring a passion for developing people, inspiring and empowering others to excellence.

Additional information
The target salary range: $197,600 - $247,000 per annum. The starting salary is determined based on the successful candidate’s knowledge, experience and internal equity.
