SENIOR TECHNICAL FUNCTIONAL ANALYST (Oracle EBS – HCM)

Victoria or Vancouver Lower Mainland

 

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle EBS HCM Techno-Functional Analyst to join our team who plays a key role in assessing HCM modules for Cloud readiness along with enhancements and support for Oracle EBS R12.2 environment. Your expertise in HCM and strong functional skills with technical knowledge will be crucial in driving support, enhancements, and Cloud readiness and implementation as needed.

 

The Role

Reporting to the IT Manager, you add value and are energized by key areas of oversight such as:

  • Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand business process and perform the fit-gap analysis & propose new solutions.
  • Involved in designing new HCM modules, develop, test, and implement solutions within the Oracle EBS environment.
  • Customizing and extending Oracle EBS applications to meet business needs.
  • Conducting system analysis and performance tuning to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams and vendors to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Designing, developing, testing, implementing and supporting any process integration in/out of Oracle EBS with other applications such as crew scheduling, time collection, Maximo and more.
  • Supporting semi-monthly payroll runs, provide solutions for pay issues and ensure to meet stringent deadlines for Bank File Generation & Accounting month end.
  • Providing technical support for Oracle HCM modules, troubleshoot issues, and implement resolutions.
  • Supporting additional applications required for the human capital management domain such as JDxpert, Cority, iCIMS, BI Analytics and RPA solutions.

 

What you bring to the team

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Extensive experience in Oracle HCM Modules.
  • Strong functional expertise in Oracle EBS R12.2 with implementations and/or upgrade experience in Human Resource, Talent and Workforce management products such as Payroll, Core HR, Employee self-service, Learning Management, iRecruitment & Performance management.
  • Proven experience with Canada Payroll legislative rules and Oracle Payroll configurations and processes.
  • Experience with design and debugging of complex fast formulas along with performance tuning.
  • Solid understanding of retroactive functionality in Oracle Payroll.
  • Excellent understanding of business processes and the ability to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in integrating Oracle Human Resource with other applications such as Financial, Supply Chain, Projects, Enterprise Asset Management, Enterprise Performance Management and/or BI Analytics.
  • Proficient in Oracle SQL and PLSQL, with strong experience in technical components of Oracle Apps, including XML Reports, Oracle WebADI, Oracle Workflow, and Oracle OAF.
  • Ability to lead small IT initiatives implementing enhancements, upgrades and/or new applications.
  • Experience with Oracle HCM Cloud Applications, Oracle APEX, and/or any RPA development is an asset.

Additional information

The target salary range: $102,200 - $127,700 per annum.  The starting salary is determined based on the successful candidate’s knowledge, experience and internal equity. Starting salary may exceed the target range on exceptional basis.
