WEB DESIGNER

The Opportunity
We are looking for a creative Web Designer who will be responsible for performing routine content updates on all of BC Ferries' web platforms, including the website, mobile app, intranet, sailsafe.com and more. You will provide design input on projects and operational initiatives in collaboration with UX Designers.
In collaboration with internal stakeholders, you will support the maintenance and enhancement of BC Ferries' web platforms by applying your creative eye and knowledge best practices in web design. The primary responsibilities for this role are web design, content management, coordinating web updates and the production of web assets, UAT testing as a part of website releases, administration of the team's sharepoint site and task management tools, and assisting UX Designers with production of designs as required. This role will also support a range of internal and external distributions, including email newsletters via the Campaigner tool, internal podcast updates and more.

What you bring to the team
You have a Bachelor's Degree in Web Design, Business, Marketing, or relevant design certification. You bring 4-6 years of web design experience and excellent written, oral, and social interpersonal skills across multiple audiences and methods.

Additional information
The target salary range: $64,300 - $80,400 per annum. The starting salary is determined based on the successful candidate’s knowledge, experience and internal equity. Starting salary may exceed the target range on exceptional basis.
