Job Description

PAYROLL SUPPORT CLERK

3-Month Term Certain
Victoria

 

The Role

You are a cooperative and detail-oriented team player, able to expeditiously complete large volumes of administrative work in an environment of tight deadlines and changing priorities.

 

You sort, acknowledge and source documents and file them in a timely manner. You administer archiving of records and documents as required, including storage. You perform inquiries in Oracle Payroll to assist in responding to enquiries and other Pay office duties as needed. Your responsibilities further include providing clerical support and assisting other Pay office staff as required. 

 

What you bring to the team

You are able to multi-task, handle rapidly changing priorities and you work well under pressure. Your background includes the successful completion of Grade 12, and experience in a high-volume Finance Department would be considered an asset.  You have also successfully completed the Payroll Compliance and Legislation course through the Canadian Payroll Association.
