The Opportunity
Working as part of a dynamic, results-driven team, you manage all aspects of key IT projects in support of business initiatives. This includes delivering projects within agreed upon scope, schedule, quality and budget, while following effective BC Ferries project methodology policies and procedures.
You ensure that the proper resources are allocated to a project, manage those resources (people, capital, time) to meet critical milestones and objectives, and identify and manage issues. You work closely with Management and Executives and you provide status reports to project stakeholders including project Owner, Sponsor and Steering Committee.
What you bring to the team
You have strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, with the demonstrated ability to effectively motivate others. You follow through on commitments and acknowledge and assume responsibility for your work, actions and decisions. You foster positive and collaborative relationships with all stakeholders, building trust through goal alignment and transparency
You have a Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Business or other related discipline with a minimum of two years experience managing projects from initiation through to implementation, and managing budgets in excess of $250K.

Additional information
The target salary range: $102,200 - $127,700 per annum. The starting salary is determined based on the successful candidate’s knowledge, experience and internal equity. Starting salary may exceed the target range on exceptional basis.
