INTERMEDIATE TECHNICAL FUNCTIONAL ANALYST (FINANCE)

The opportunity

We are seeking an Oracle EBS Intermediate Technical Functional Analyst to join our team! You play a key role in managing the Finance and Procurement applications, and you provide ongoing support for Oracle EBS R12.2 applications, addressing user inquiries, troubleshooting technical issues, and resolving system errors to ensure smooth business operations.

You conduct detailed functional analysis of business processes within the Oracle EBS modules, such as Finance, Procurement and Project Accounting, and recommend solutions to optimize system functionality and efficiency. You analyze technical aspects of Oracle EBS, including data structures, workflows, configurations, and integrations, and work with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for system improvements or enhancements. You design, develop, and implement customizations, extensions, or configurations, within Oracle EBS using tools such as Oracle Forms, Reports, PL/SQL and Workflow. In addition, you plan and execute comprehensive testing strategies for Oracle EBS patches, upgrades, customizations, and integrations, ensuring system reliability, data integrity, and compliance with business requirements. You collaborate with Oracle support and third party vendors to escalate and resolve complex technical issues, coordinate system upgrades, and leverage vendor expertise to optimize Oracle EBS performance and functionality.

 

What you bring to the team

You have a Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or other related discipline. You have experience in Financial & Procurement applications, and in-depth knowledge and experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) modules such as Finance, Procurement and Projects. You are proficient in Oracle EBS technical components, including Oracle Forms, Reports, PL/SQL, Workflow, Oracle Application Framework (OAF) and Oracle BI Publisher. You have experience with business processes in areas like finance and procurement, and you are experienced with translating business requirements into technical solutions within Oracle EBS.

You have strong communication skills and you can convey technical information in a clear and understandable manner. You have the demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with developers, analysts, and other stakeholders, in order to deliver projects on time and within scope.

Additional information

The target salary range: $81,100 - $101,300 per annum.  The starting salary is determined based on the successful candidate’s knowledge, experience and internal equity. Starting salary may exceed the target range on exceptional basis.
