Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Developer
You are a detailed oriented BI professional, and you provide second and third tier Cognos application support. You troubleshoot and diagnose complex application problems within Finance, Human Resources, and Business and Maintenance applications. You work with Business Analysts, Developers and Architects to understand business requirements, and develop detailed design specifications. You diagnose and correct problems related to infrastructure and databases and you assist with IBM Cognos server software installation, upgrades and testing, as well as configure models of packaged applications. You ensure quality assurance while maintaining the overall integrity of the data reported from the Cognos systems.
You have a Diploma or Degree in Computer Science (or an IT related discipline), or equivalent combination of experience, education and training. You have demonstrated experience working in a BI role, including Cognos Reports, Query Studio and Cube design and development. Experience with Data Warehousing (ETL), Enterprise Planning, Metrics, Framework Manager Modelling, Power BI is preferred.
