INTERMEDIATE IT SECURITY ANALYST
As a key member of the IT Security team, you are responsible for enhancing, maintaining and monitoring security for the IT infrastructure at the enterprise level. Working closely with the IT Security team, you are responsible for monitoring IT security logs and alerts, investigating events, assessing and responding to IT security incidents. You assist with the development and implementation of company-wide information security policies, standards and guidelines, and implementing, managing and enforcing information security directives, under the information security program. Working with the IT Security team, you assist in implementing procedures and systems for the protection of proprietary, personal and sensitive data.
You have experience with IT security technologies, ideally in a dedicated IT security role. You have experience maintaining and providing support for server, storage and desktop; and experience designing, building and maintaining virtual server environments. You have knowledge and experience with network and IT security components, including firewalls, intrusion systems, anti-virus software, data encryption technologies, and other industry-standard security technologies and their applications. Experience conducting Security Threat Risk Assessments are an asset.
You have demonstrated experience and knowledge with virtualization technologies, Windows operating systems and their interoperability, within a complex enterprise and distributed network. In addition you have working knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy and other Microsoft Enterprise technologies.
You have a Degree or Diploma in Computer Systems, Computer Security or another IT related discipline, combined with CISSP, GIAC/SANS or SSCP certification. You have significant on the job experience in Information Technology with an emphasis on IT security.
