CUSTOMER SALES AND SERVICE REPRESENTATIVES

You are a team player, your goal is delivering exceptional customer service to align with our three key attributes; friendliness, communication\listening and professionalism. You excel in a diverse, high-volume, professional environment.
You work in a call centre environment. You are available for shifts (early mornings, days, evenings, weekends and holidays) and your schedule is flexible, with full time availability. As a first point of contact to the public, you provide information and assistance regarding all aspects of BC Ferries' operations. You respond to passenger telephone enquiries and reservation requests using computerized reservations and information systems. You determine customer needs, input and confirm passenger information, and recommend products and services while providing professional, timely responses to customer queries.
Your positive attitude and excellent communication skills coupled with 1 year of applied experience in sales and customer service related environments are necessities. You have successfully completed Grade 12 and have an intermediate to advanced proficiency with computers and their applications, including (but not limited to) Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
