REGIONAL MANAGER, TERMINAL MAINTENANCE
Playing a key role in the execution of employee engagement, capability, and accountability, you ensure the safe, timely and efficient maintenance of marine structures and terminal components. You are an innovative leader, supervising, mentoring and managing qualified trades people and support staff who carry out the maintenance program. When necessary, you acquire services beyond the capability of the Maintenance Department by evaluating bids and negotiating contracts within a set budget.
You maintain consistently high standards of safety, ensuring adherence to relevant safety practices and policies at all times. You implement Corporate Safety and Risk Assessment processes and initiatives; conduct incident reviews; and ensure staff familiarization of policies and procedures while ensuring a high level of environmental standards. You possess strong organizational and time management skills, the ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with computer software (CMMS unspecified but Maximo preferred, MS Office Excel, MS Word and Outlook).
You must have a two year community college diploma, technical institute certification or equivalent (e.g. trades certification) coupled with 10 years experience (2 of which are supervisory), or an undergraduate degree in an Engineering related field coupled with 5 years experience in the maintenance field.
