    DECKHAND / BRIDGE WATCHMAN

    You are a committed, energetic mariner keen to work with one of BC’s Top Employer as a primary point-of-contact to the public. As a deckhand with BC Ferries, you will represent the Company in a professional and courteous manner while playing a critical role in vessel operation and safety, loading and unloading vehicle and passenger traffic, and vessel maintenance. Working at one of our largest terminals, you will be trained on a variety of vessels and be a key member of our customer service team sailing to Vancouver Island and the Southern Gulf Islands.  

     

    If you hold a Bridge Watch Rating certificate or a Watchkeeping Mate certificate, we would like to hear from you.  To be considered a viable candidate, both Marine Emergency Duty (MED) STCW Basic Safety and Survival Craft Certifications are required.
